Most halls provide a bed, desk, chair, and wardrobe. You’ll typically need to bring: bedding, towels, kitchen essentials (pots, pans, plates, cutlery), toiletries, a desk lamp, and extension leads. Check with your university what’s provided.

Resist the urge to bring everything you own. Student rooms are small. Bring essentials and buy additional items once you’ve seen your space. London has plenty of affordable shops.
