Office Relocation Checklist: Moving Your Business Without Downtime

3 Months Before

Start planning early. Audit your office inventory, decide what’s moving and what’s being replaced. Get quotes from commercial movers. Review your lease terms at both locations. Assign an internal move coordinator.

2 Months Before

Finalise your mover and book the date. Plan your new office layout — where will desks, servers, and common areas go? Order any new furniture. Begin notifying clients and suppliers of your address change.

1 Month Before

Label all furniture and equipment with destination locations in the new office. Coordinate IT infrastructure — internet, phone lines, and server setup at the new location. Update your website, Google Business, and stationery.

1 Week Before

Back up all data. Label all cables. Have IT team prepare the new server room. Pack personal desk items. Clean out communal areas. Confirm all access arrangements.

Moving Weekend
